Duct Tape Dummy (Body)
A duct tape dummy must ONLY be made on a painter’s suit using strong, durable duct tape. Please crisscross your tape to ensure the entire body is covered and the dummy is strong. Leave the front zipper of the painter’s suit untaped so it can be zipped open and closed. When cutting yourself out of the dummy, DO NOT cut at the shoulders as this makes the dummy fragile when working and susceptible to ripping. It it best to be cut underneath the arms and down the side of the body. You must tape the dummy back together before sending it out to HMH, or there will be a flat $100 fee to have it taped shut.
Duct Tape Dummy (Feet)
NEVER make your feet dummies on socks. ONLY use cling wrap or paper towel. Tape up to the mid-calf, cut them out, and tape them back shut. If the dummies are made on socks, they will be rejected, will have to be remade, and delays will ensue.
Shoes
Please ONLY send brand new slip-on shoes with no velcro, snaps, or laces. Use shoes that can hold form on their own.
Hand Tracings
On 8.5” x 11” paper, use a marker, pen, or pencil to trace your hand and wrist. Fingers must be spread as wide as possible. This may be scanned and sent via e-mail or shipped.
